My mobo and cpu got fried last week..so I need some suggestions on where to find a good bundle, to add to my current case.

I am looking for atleast a 3.0 Ghz processor, a plain mobo that supports Pci-express (without built-in sound if possible ) and 512mb of ram.

Hopefully in the $300-$400 range.
:)

Price101.com is really good. I've bought four computers from them over the last several years and haven't had any major problems with any of them. They sell bare bones kits and parts all the way up to full blown gaming machines and everything in between. The prices are competative with just about everyone else, and they ship fast. Ordered 2 systems last year as Christmas presents for my kids and they showed up 4 days after I ordered them. They were custom machines that had to be built and I still only paid about $1000.00 for both of them.

If there's a Frys near you, look for the "Friday Frys" ad, great deals.... heres a random ad I found on the LA Times print Ad section.

I'd stay away from Gigabyte boards if given the chance.

Look for Asus, Epox, MSI or DFI
