Tournament of Champions 2005
« on: December 02, 2005, 10:19:20 AM »
Would like to congratulate the following pilots for having qualified for an invite to this years King of the Hill Tournament of Champions 2005 , set to be held on Saturday, December 10th 2005 at 3pm EST.  The King of the Hill Tournament of Champions 2005 is held once a year, and gives  bragging rights for the whole next twelve months to the winner.  The King of the Hill Tournament of Champions 2004  winner was Flyboy.

To qualify, they had to either win a King of the Hill outright, or have two wins during a single King of the Hill (we call dem' wabbits, and life is hard for a wabbit in a KOTH)  I flew many a KOTH before I got two wins, and it is very, VERY hard to do, let alone win THREE and win the whole durn thing.

TODAY, Friday the 2nd (3pm EST), and Saturday the 3rd (9pm EST) will be the last opportunity everybody has to qualify for the King of the Hill Tournament of Champions 2005 , so block out some time, show some mad flying skills, and get ready to rumble, because the King of the Hill Tournament of Champions 2005  is invite only.

I know I don't participate in this Lute (and that is just due to the fact I don't get to play much) but thanks for putting this stuff together.  I know it is a lot of fun.  Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time.

Also, isn't BluKitty and ManeTMP the same person?  :D

getting close...

only four days until the TOC!

if you fly with anybody on the list, you may ask them if they are able to make it  to the TOC for me.

Would hate for any of those invited to say "TOC?? WHAT TOC??" after the fact.

Here is the final list of Invitees to the 2005 KOTH Tournament Of Champions.
This event will be private to eliminate any possibility of non-invitees flying and causing delays. As of now no reply from Flyboy so the P-40B will be the first ride. Similar to the original TOC people will also be able to choose the time of day. The prize will be similar but not identical to last years.

It will be the 10th of December starting at 3pm eastern (GMT-5).

Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

The duplicate and changing gameIDs did throw me for a loop.
All who confessed to what a previous handle was have been updated and changed. Those that didn't were left alone.

IMO, it's their responsability to notify me of that type of information.
