The next time we meet in the MA would you mind asking the Allmighty to sit on the sidelines please.

You've cost me two 262s in the last month with your miracle shots.

No fair getting help from above!:rofl

99% of the time I loose a 262 its due to rounds from feild ack and then its usually while trying to land with a dead engine and gear shot out.

Seagoon had help! lmao

Odd thing is that both times it has been from passing shots. The first time I'll admit was pure providence that I caught you with my defanged Spit Vb 20 mm quick shot, the second time though was simply a matter of leading you in the field ack as your 262 was running in on the field (were you deacking or going for the vulch?) I'll admit to feeling bad when I saw it was your 262 that got hosed. I remember transmitting on the squad channel "That 262 was Dred. Man, he's gonna be ticked at me now!"

But after doing some thinking on it, I've concluded that this should probably interpreted as a sign that you are supposed to go Rook. ;)

BTW - I don't recall asking this before but did you get your handle from the ABC warriors, 2000 AD comicbook character?

At one time I used to be a huge fan of the ABC Warriors and Nemesis the Warlock. (Not to mention Groo and Cerebus).

How can you get a 262 shot down?  Only by flying it wrong, or someone makes an incredibly lucky shot.

You have to keep your speed way up and you will be virutally untouchable.

My favorite way of using it was to vultch a runway.  Taught this technique to a few guys.  Get plenty of altitude, pick your field, dive in and fly the length of the runway at just slightly under the speed of compression.  You will be moving so fast nobody, nor field ack can hit you.  Climb out and do it again.  When you get to the point your energy is dissapating, fly away and either regain all the energy you need, or go to a well distant field and land your kills.

It always worked for me anyways.  Just hope like heck nobody on the other side has a 262 with equal E.

Yeah, it really sucked landing 9  kills on one flight and saving all your perk points.  I guess I should have done a little T&B with it.  NOT.
