Changing texture size locks AH up

Every time I change my texture size, AH changes it but locks up with a black screen that does nothing. It never re-populates the AH menu.

I go back and forth between 1024 (for offline skin testing) and 256 (for online play) textures, and every time I select the drop box then hit "Okay" it gives me a black screen that never goes away. You can't altf4, you can't do anything that changes this. You have to end task AH, but the next time you start AH up the textures were changed. It just locks up every time it changes them.

I've noticed that.

What I tend to do is close AH completely.  THEN go back in, change video settings, and close AH completely again.

THEN launch it again and fly.

If I change settings and try to immed. fly, it locks up.  IF I was just flying, and try to change video, it locks up.

dunno why.  been like that for awhile here.
