here's a list of artists, 10 of them in no particular order

Jelly Roll Morton



Django Reinhart



Bill Monroe



Thelonious Monk



Miles Davis

Old And In The Way

Grateful Dead (and Kristofferson is spelled with a K :) )

(something with a backbeat like Bob Marley or Sublime)


David Grisman Quintet


and well .. ya the Beatles are good

many great albums listed here:  Bottom line -there are simply too many great albums to pick a top ten that lasts more than a few days.

Other honorable mentions:
Tommy - The Who
Rumors - Fleetwood Mac
Highway To Hell - AC/DC

Live Albums
Frampton Comes Alive - Peter Frampton
Wings Over America - Paul McCartney and Wings
Yessongs - Yes

Man!  I forgot all about "Tommy" too!  I think they sent a copy of "Frampton Comes Alive" to every house in the suburbs.  Because of my age I was a Paul McCartney fan before I discovered the Beatles.  I have two copies of "Wings Over America" on vinyl.  I still haven't justified the $40 for the CD though.

Looking at your list of artists I wonder if you are familiar with a guy named Ray LaMontagne?  He's a new artist and his album "Trouble" is incredible.  I highly recommend it.
