Sort of on the same topic- then HTC wouldn't aprrove any skins done of Romanian aircraft after August of 1944, when they switched sides and joined the Allies? Same aircraft they always had, just new markings (plus a few 109s and 190s the Germans left behind).
Or even the pro-Allied Italian ones from 1943 onwards?
I can understand the captured skins policy, but the non-defected countries one seems a little weird if thats really how they do it. Cuts out a lot of history, not to mention limiting the late-war scenario planeset on a few fronts.
