Wondering if anyone has a pilots view when siting in a spitfire.

Plenty on cockpit views out there but cant seem to find one of what/how the pilot would see when strapped in

Thanks

I think the Aces High Spitfire cockpit comes close to what one would see I guess?

I looking for the POV of the pilot. I am curious to what the field of view was for an avg height pilot. Did the pilot sit up close to the instrument panel and gunsight, or was he more streached out? What was the view looking down over the side while in level flight? It seems in Pictures that the Spit pilot sat tucked in tight and low in the seat.

Anyway thats what I'm looking for. Kinda like a helmet cam view.

In AH you can page up, page down etc. I'd like to see what the real pilots saw from the seat when flying

Go here to a page that has videos of Jerry Billings flying a restored Spit.  He was a wartime Spit pilot and has flown Spits ever since in airshows etc.  This one is an inside view from the cockpit of a Spit IX

Wish you could see the instrument panel better to compare with AH.
BTW - It looks like Jerry was using Track IR!:D

After watching the video, went back and flew the AH Spit.  The view over the nose seems about the same, but since the video never looked down into the cockpit, it's hard to tell otherwise.
