check the file size :rofl

if you did it in WAV with stereo and high sampling, it will be huge.
i did a 15 minute mono low bit rate vocal thing, like a memo, it was almost 250MB

anyway, you just got to find a place on the old intardnet to host it. then you can link to it here.

check with morph

You will want to render the .wav file as an .mp3

Then post to a web hosting service which will support .mp3s and link the location to the bbs.

Keep an eye open tonight...I'll be posting my latest Musical Blasphemy (i think #10)

Morpheus was really really gracious in allowing me to upload .mp3s done by me and only me for use on the AH BBs on his host.  I can't say one way or another whether or not he'll allow it but like Mustaine said...check with Morph.

Good luck!

I use Sony Vegas 5.0 to record, edit and render.  I can lay down an infinate number of tracks and record overtop of another (Which just gave me an idea for the Musical Blasphemy tune I'm uploading as we speak) or sing along with myself.  Check the new song I'll post here in a few and you'll hear me singing with me...god awful though I know :)

Anyways...

Sound Recorder has a way to do it...

Open the file in sound recorder.

Click File -> Properties

Choose "Playback Formats" from the 'choose form' and click "Convert Now"

It will give you the option to render as an .mp3 (Mpeg Layer 3)

Save it as CD quality and enter the rest of the specifics you want, preheat oven to 350º and in just a few minutes you have a fresh .mp3.

Don't have Itunes.

If I had highspeed access I'd do it but being on dialup it's an adventure in iteself to upload a 2-3MB .mp3 so I can post it here.

If you don't have enough memory...that's a computer thing.  Buy a stick of RAM you cheap bastage :p

Just noticed you said "first part" so it's probably 30 seconds long (I hate how SR goes in 30 second spurts) so send it to:

cfigeorge at earthlink dot net

I'll render it as mp3 and send it back to ya.

Cav...is this your 6MB file that my email is downloading now?

Only complaint about earthlink I have is they download the whole damn file before I can select whether or not even I want to before I can read the email.

BASTAGES!!!!!!!!!

When I reduce it if it's under 2 minutes it should be 1-2 MB.
