Is this vulching or spawn camping?

Here is the scenario:

The CV and Crusier has just been sunk.

Guys start upping PT boats.  The airplanes start to swoop down on them, bombs, guns blazing, PT boats blowing up, airplanes crashing into the water.

Quickly the planes overwhelm the PTs and the PTs get blown up as soon as they spawn.  It is mindless mayhem with the planes crawling all over one another to pot the next PT that spawns. And it is easy because the PT spawns just ahead of the last PT that was blown up.

Now the questions:

A:  Is this vulching or spawn camping?
B:  If the PT actually gets his motor running and starts to move, does it change from a vulch (or spawn camp) to a ‘Cherry Pick”

Considering the number of people who do this, I would say that blasting the PTs after a CV is sunk is almost as popular as vulching an airfield.

Anyways, I like to shoot the PT’s, but I need to know what it is called :)

well I think if you keep upping and getting shot down then

"Just Deserts"

Or

"Death Camping" or "reverse Vulching"

I mean if they are gonna up then someone is gonna shoot right, so they must be trying to get killed with the least effort.....

I'd have to say neither.

Vulching imply's airplane strafing airplane on the runway.
If he has his wheels up its more of a cherry pick than a vulch, but its still satisfying.

spawn camping = GV vs GV, at least in my opinion.

I'd just call it a PT feeding frenzy and let it go at that.  :)

Well maybe we have a chance here to make a new term for this.  One that could continue in Flight Sim history.  :)

To me this is as dweeby as spawn camping or vulching, and almost as much fun.  Lets be creative here guyz n galz :aok

Whaling?

Fishing is cool, but I think the word needs a little more of "scummy" tone to it.  

Although, come to think of it, vulching is kind of like "fishing for whines" on channel 200.  It's all in the presentation of the bait! :rofl

A "vultcher" strikes his target at the spawn point ( or just down the runway) from the air over land.

A "spawn camper" strikes his target at the spawn point (or short distance from) from the ground over land or water.

A "pelican"* strikes his target at the spawn point (or short distance from) from the air over water.


* = the "new word" for vultching over water?

Chum = bloody bait used for shark fishing
