What was the aquatic island map that used to have that awesome set of ports that looked like pearl harbor....The runways went from extra small to large and were a sand/dust color?

that used 2 be a lot of fun

I remember that one. if I remember correctly each land mass was based on an actual place. ond notjust made up.
Had Pearl. Midway, coral sea. etc
and had palm trees

Nicest looking map we ever had IMO

I belive raptor01 made it.
I know he made a pearl harbor map a while back not shure it we talking
about the same map....

Fester made it. It probably won't be back until new terrain tiles are designed for it, because it used a lot of non-standard stuff.

Fester made the one he is talking about I believe (OZKansas). I did make one but not that high level of detail, I was trying to fit the entire pacific into a 512x512 map so I had to shrink everything down... a lot.

I did also make Pearl Harbor, but it no longer works on AH2.

And Midway, which will need some revisions.

Your Midway map is awesome, did some good missions in that one

But your Pearl Harbor map is excellent! Too bad it doesn't work anymore, why not btw?

All the maps that used custom objects and terrain tiles have to be redone to work with AH2. The good thing is that we have a new, more powerful engine with AH2....the bad is that custom stuff from AH1 doesn't work with it.

The one with palm trees. Fester made it. It was an awsome map. Too bad it got killed by the smurfy terrain tiles. He put a crap load of work into it too. That was one sweet looking map when it actually looked like it was supposed to.
