The Steelers won before it even started. And if Ben didn't have that fractured thumb, it would've been a total blowout. I mean come on, that fracture seriously affected his pass accuracy and power, and it showed (the interception near the goal line being the most prominent --- super wobbly and barely any velocity).

The Seahawks got beat at a crucial time on a trick play. A trick play, think about it, what team gets beat on a trick play in the SB? That's pathetic. You can't be playing like that and expect to win on the SB stage. But lets not forget that they had lost Rocky Bernard, the leading sacker on the team, and their starting Safety, Manual. Both who went out late in the 2nd quarter.

The better team on Sunday was the Seahawks, to cry about calls is reasonable considering it was indeed the most viewed game on earth. Grow a set of nads and and be a man about it and complain to the NFL

Fixed!

No, I don't believe it was a conspiracy. It was just plain old crappy referring.  I can't help think that it may have been due to Holmgrens mouth after the Giants game earlier in the year, but I highly doubt that it was. Subliminally, it may have been in some of the refs minds...

What about the horse-collar illegal tackle that wasn't called by the refs? Had Porter not horse-collar tackled Alexander, that's a TD !  Take a look, no one in front of him! Where was the flag?

Ripsnort, your bitterness seems to be fading by the day. At this rate you will probably be over Seattles loss well before 2010. :lol

And with the horsecollar thing...it is only a foul if seen by the steelers officials & a flag is thrown. :D

It's how sore losers rationalize a final score. Worse yet, it's crying. And there's no crying in football, unless you're Hines Ward.

The thing that cracks me up is how Steelers fans were all claiming league bias just a few weeks ago and now they laugh it off as a crackpot notion.

I don't know if such a bias exist, but the officiating was awful on Sunday and it all went one way.  Too bad, it could have been a more exciting game without the officials wanting to decide it.

The Patriots lost Eugene Wilson and Rodney Harrison against Carolina. They Lost Eugene Wilson in the first half against Philly. Did they whine about it? No, they overcame and won two SB in a row. That is what a champion does Rip, and that's why the Seahawks are not champions, they didn't step up and make plays.

How many injuries have the Pats had in the last few years? During their SB run against Carolina, they had all kinds of players go down, they set a record for starters that year. Did they whine about it? No, they went on to win 15 straight games to finish the season.

You think Belichick would go home in front of a crowd and cry about having to play the refs? Talk about pathetic. The best thing Seattle did was take away Holmgren's GM duties, now they just need to take away his head coaching duties.

Geez, yuppie double mocha latte drinking whiney seahawks fans. Pathetic!
