I brought this up shortly after 2.06 was released. You'll also find that a film will lock up even if you're not flying the G-10 but someone else in the area is.
I was told that films made prior to 2.06 may just no longer be viewable, and the only way to continue viewing them is by installing the version of AHII just prior to 2.06. So I have two versions of AHII installed (as well as AH1), which isn't a problem for me since I have plenty of storage space, but I can't really share films anymore unless I know the other person has done the same thing. I was not told if this is something that will be fixed (can't the G-14 model stand in for the G-10?).
