Everything looks good on paper..however our defense is banged up, we have 2 rookies playing Linebacker, we're missing two pro-bowler defensive players (Ken Hamlin, Jamie Sharper), our team-leading interception leader is out until the end of the season (Dyson), our starting Wide Receiver Darryl Jackson is still out, yet we've managed to keep winning....I'm really not sure what to think of Seattle's play off chances. Everyone will crank it up a notch in the play offs, but can Seattles defense crank it up with a make-shift defense and two rookies? Time will tell.

I do know this much, Sat. Dec. 24th will be touted as "a possible Superbowl match up" when the Colts come to Seattle...I certainly hope Manning can communicate by hand signals alone with his players while executing the no-huddle offense because myself and 67,000 other fans are going to make it very loud at quest field that day.  I highly doubt that the center will hear Manning changing the play at the line of scrimmage...it is THAT loud at Quest field.

shoulda be a hell of a game.

Dont this its a possible Super bowl match though.

Steelers fan but I don't hold out much hope this year. To many injuries.

Live in Indiana so I gotta root for the Colts.

As long as they play indoors they have a chance. Their only downside is their secondary.

One more hard game and 2 easy (hopefully) and they will be ready!

Can you say 16-0?

Seahawks problem is they are in the weakest division in the NFL. That is a bunch of games in a year against really weak opponents. Defense is gonna be there big let down, that and coming up against a team that can keep the rushing below 100yrds.

Beat Dallas, beat NYG, beat Atlanta, SMOKED Philly, lost to the Skins by a missed FG...granted our division (which has two Superbowl winners from years past in it) is weak, but I really think that our offense is that good.

Mainly because they discovered Defence is part of the game too.
Problem is untill this past weekend they forgot how to play offence.
In that stretch they havent beaten anybody of note besides the Giants. In one of the weirder games I've seen in recent memory

Next up they get a damn good Steelers team in a game I think will be closer then people expect but with the Vikes ultimately loosing.

Playoff prediction.
Anybodies guess. Slim chance at a wildcard spot. But a better chance of slipping in as division winner if the bears loose one more before the final game between the Vikes and Bears which could end up being for the Division.

IF by some miracle they get in. The offence will either finally gell and catch fire and win a couple games before being crushed.
ORRR they will get destroyed outright from the first snap.

Team is too unpredictable to predict with any certainty

I couldnt agree more, if the Vikes go into the playoffs, i see a strong Super Bowl run, if they dont, then this year was just "another" rebuilding year.  The Vikings have improved 10 fold on defence!

Darren Sharper is ranked 3rd in the NFL for interceptsions.  He has 8 interceptions for 265 yards, 2 tds, and his longest is 92 yards td return.  Brian Williams and Antonio Winfield both have 4 interceptions apiece.  The d-line has a lot to do with how well the secondary is doing.  They pressure the QB and force him to throw the ball early and often, not on target.  DT Pat Williams in a beast in a half!  Why Buffalo let him go, is anyones guess!  His is by far, the best NT in the NFL!  Vikes have 4 recievers who may not be known outside Minnesota, but these guys are anything but selfish like Moss!  They give 110% every time they step onto the field.  I remember the 98' Vikes, "3 deep" Moss, Carter, and Williams (I think).  Well now, we have 4 deep, and they will be around for many more seasons!  If i had my way, the vikes would go all the way, but i dought it will happen!  Just my 2 cents!

Do you know why Portland Oregon does not have a professional football team?

If the did Seattle would want one too.

Gotta tell that joke now in case they have success in the playoffs.

They have already lost to Washington once this year. and Carolina isnt a a gimme either.

On the other hand. Both are winnable games

They have offensive line problems, thats enough to put the breaks on this year.

I am...being the pessimist, my wife is the eternal optimist as a Hawk fan. She hates my predictions of seasons past because I've been so accurate with the way the season would turn out...I told her this year I'm more optimistic, but I see "holes".  I think we need to win a playoff game to get that monkey off our backs...see ya in the 2nd round! ;)
