BTW Rip, if you express yourself in words, someone might actually know what it is you're trying to say there.

but.... if little johny draws any scene of violence in school they will vilify the parents and medicate little johnny to his eyeballs after throwing him out of school for a while.

Maybe they should just drag those people out of their house and suspend them from work and then put em on medication?

First of all, anytime you want to quote me on something that has nothing to do with the topic yet somehow you think makes a point... feel free. Makes my day.

Second of all... you would think that the conservative law and order types on this board would be more miffed about a theft of personal property than an excersize of free speech.

Maybe not.

when is a scene of violence not a scene of violence?

When it is against Xmas.

Every other time it is some sort of hate crime or "free speech".

Christmas has become a day about gifts, and solely that these days.

Christmas' enemies are toy companies and greedy lil' bastard children.

"You all enjoy your straw man ... set him up, knock him down... repeat as needed until it sounds like the truth."
First of all , your post has everything to do with the topic, but I cannot help you see it if you cannot see it. This original post is just ANOTHER "Straw man" story ;)

Second of all, why would conservatives be miffed about personal property theft when their culture and tradition is being stripped slowly away by the left?

We do. Its just that some folks left of center try to make sure that others do not.

As long as you try to enjoy it I can't disagree.

freedom is conditional here.

We can hang a man in a red suit in effigy on our front lawn during the xmas holiday but we can't say.... hang slaves in effigy during the martin king hoiliday.   Or... say put a scene on our lawn of a colored person being shot in a watermellon patch by a white farmer.

What exactly is "free speech"?   What exactly is a "hate crime" and what is violence?  when is violence not violence?
