Technically a F-2, I'm fairly sure they'll allow it (we've had F-2 skins before).

I'm running into some irritating problems -- like the prop spinner actually has parts of the port/starboard fuselage mapped onto it, in addition to the separate spinner parts on the skin.

This is still under construction. I've got no progress done on weathering (my first 109F so far) and only have all the colors and markings laid out so far.

Yeah, I ran into the spinner probablem doing my 109G. Lookin great though!

My only constructive criticism, add more weathering to the engine area, especially that pristine cowl.

I'm open! What do you suggest? The problem is that it's a 2-piece hood... So stains should only develop around the edges, and maybe by the oil filling area by the spinner on the port side (DOH forgot to add oil stains there!!)

Whatcha have in mind?

Kinda hard to recommend specifics, it just looks too pristine for an Eastern Front aircraft.

Maybe some gun smoke, a little oil seepage behind the spinner and around the chin intake, some rust and paint chips around the rivets and latches, etc. Just the light wear that regular combat maintenance on the front lines would cause. Nothing drastic.

Looks like it just came out of the paint shop, but in a good way. :)

Howitzer, my fav pre-2.06 109F was the yellow nosed one! I had to add another yellow nose :)

There's also a different plane without the yellow rudder and yellow nose, but similar stripes/spots (all the way up to the spinner and all the way back to the trim tabs) if anybody wants me to do that.

Treize, good idea re: coming out of the spinner. I'll take a look into scuffing it up more. My meager paint chipping is hard to see due to the yellow color but I'll boost it up a bit.
