Just woundering are the carriers in AH2 are they the small type of carriers made in great numbers or the big 1s like at the battle of Midway that could hold i guess hundreds of airplanes?

AH has the full size king-of-the-road carriers. The small ones were Escort Carriers and were the size of cruiser or destroyers (and were often built on the hulls of cruisers or destroyers that were under construction)

You might underestimate how small these jeep carriers were! Think of the Marine carriers for helos or AV8Bs, think THAT small. Just enough to lift a plane to the deck, launch said plane, and recover said plane. No room on deck for much else.

We have the Essex class carrier currently in game.
When ToD finally Reaches PTO, then I think surface ships will see their make overs. Hopefully a Japanese surface fleet to go along with the current American fleet.

Escort carriers weren't built on destroyer hulls, most were converted from merchantment.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Rap, ships already got their makeovers... Remember the jump in details? When CVs got about 3x as many polys and shapes on them? That's when fps started dropping below 10 fps for 90% of all AH players when they were within sight of any CV fleet, remember? Forget it if 2 were in the same areas!

New code since then smoothed things out, and hardware upgrades further made things better for most players, but there was a definite upgrade for the fleets, object-wise.

EDIT: Cav, that's DACT (Dissimilar Air Combat Training) paint. I've seen some tan-colored birds like that, that simulate the shape of a fulcrum with the paint job. I myself modeled an F18A in a similar type of paint scheme but different.

No, they have not been updated. The carrier flight deck texture still mirrors. They got more moving parts but are still not up to AH2 quality.

They got updated to "ah2" functionally but kept the texture mapping of AH1, which was kind of odd... But there was a definite leap in fps hit at one point.

Cool model Krusty!
So you saying the paint job is to create the illusion of as much of a fulcrum as you can get out of an 18?  I was under the understanding the paint job was to only replicate Russian/Libyan etc schemes
