My girl didnt ask for anything.
Unfortunately, that gives me more guilt to not get her anything.
So I bought her one of those new eco drive watches (gasp)

We just realised with my wife yesterday that we've been so busy that we haven't laid one thought on Xmas shopping yet. So we haven't shopped for anyone else let alone figure out what to get to eachothers.

We just got back from a Xmas cruise. Was dumb not to buy something from the tax free for her. Oh well..

Nice! Our main floor downstairs is wood too, except for the Family room, which is burbur carpet (good thing too with our little ones). Now that the kids are older, my wife wants wood for that room too. Will you come up and do my family room? :)

This is what the wife wants replaced with the same wood in the previous pic:

Sandy, I've not done this before, did you do it yourself or hire someone?  Pretty easy project?

Looks nice, Rip.

Our floor is a 30 year laminate. It's made by Dupont. I have a friend of mine that does flooring for a living. He came over and helped us with it. It went fairly easy because he had all the knowledge and the right tools for the job. There's this little thing called an undercut saw. I couldn't see ever spending $400 on one, but the results are great if you use it.
