So I'm back flying in the main arena after over a year out of the cockpit. First time flying AH2. Noticed a few changes, a more realistic flight model......as in I spin a lot and I constantly demonstrate Newtonian physics with the effects of inertia thrown in..... as in I fail to pull out of dives quite a lot too.
But one thing hasn't changed. Everybody else is cheating

That's a strong statement I know. Well they must be, I now have a broadband connection and a fast computer with a fast graphics card and a cool new joystick. Yet I still lose every fight.
I'm flying a fighter, say a Spitfire. I spy the enemy. We go head to head, I break hard, nothing outturns a Spit heh heh. But bang bang bang my wing falls off.

As I gently flutter to the ground, while I watch the beautifully rendered scenery rising up to meet me. I wonder how he could have turned so tightly and got on my tail. A better pilot? No. he's cheating.
Bombers, they're easy prey. Slow and and vulnerable.

I'll get three easy kills and land smugly at my base and watch the message flash up announcing my heroic triple victory. Then relish the 'WTG' messages from my admiring fellow aviatiors. So I take off and chase some bomber group for hours. Smiling to myself at the other man's terror as he watches the red icon that will be his nemesis closing on his vulnerable formation. Then a mile out he opens up, hopelessly, desperate to stop me. I smile grimly and get ready to despatch him...............Then my tail falls off. Whaaaaaaaat:mad:
As I spin to the ground twenty thousand feet below. I make a plan, bombers, all that armament, all those .50 calibres and a few bombs to drop too. I could soon have enough points to buy an Me262 and be king of the main arena.
I check out in the B24 and off I set deep into the red zone, gleefully trying out all my machines guns. Soon I attract the attention of some ace with glory on his mind. I track him with malice in my heart. He closes in from behind the fool l.

I let him have it. I see a strike or two but he keeps coming and coming............Later as I sit in the ruined remains of my turret watching the strikingly realistic flames curve above me into the blue. I decide to give up flying for good.
GV's are the way to go. The Ostwind. I'm killed more often by Ossies than any other. They are hard to knock out too. How often have I seen people land 14 kills in Ossies. Clearly that is the best route to the cockpit of a 262. So I sit there in my lethal Ossie and wait for trade. Soon it arrives, a Typhoon. We exchange fire. This is easy until bang. bang the main gun stops firing. Damaged:furious Now I'm vulnerable, I swiftly change to the machine gun but it's hopeless. Soon I'm back in the tower, haplessly watching as my conqueror shows off by flying through the hangars in between shooting up the fuel supplies.
You must all be cheating. I couldn't be that bad could I?
