BIS has announced there will be no Software Development Kit released for Operation Flashpoint........which means all the mods planned are effectivly scrapped since the modders now have nothing to mod with.

If you read farther you would see that they are just not releasing the SDK yet.

All the mods etc etc will still be made just fine, the mod-makers are reassuring everyone this changes nothing. Total conversions will take a bit longer now though, not neccesarily a bad thing when 99% of the people out there can't even fully utilize the mission maker yet....

And at the pace things are going, all tools promised by the SDK will be out for free by their screaming fans. They'd be smarter just to publish the formats they used and let someone else write the SDK.

I have yet to see any statement from BIS or Codemasters either way... so who knows...
