The man was gunned down and lived.  I didn't "miss" that fact...sorry he wasn't hit by 100 rounds from a Mach 10.  3 hits and a richochet off a belt buckle qualifies as being gunned down....surely?

..and yes...everything here is measured in wealth.  If you aren't worth 100 million or more you simply wouldn't be mentioned in our local papers.

Frankly I'm surprised they even let him live in Tuckers Town and be a member of Mid Ocean Club...and live that close to Perot????  Shameful.

At least a respectable white man shot him.  That makes me feel better.  Massachutettes still has a good old colonial flavour,

wow GTO...your gun knowledge is amazing.  I'm impressed.  I'll bet that gets you laid alot.  lol  ;)

anyway..okay you win...he wasn't "gunned down".  That is far too...I don't know...dramatic?

He took three rounds....what a wuss.  Probably spent too much time here.  If he was from Texas, California or some other tough place then he'd be out drinking the next night with his buddies.

Gotcha.

I thought Gun Control was working in Mass.  They outlawed anyone with a criminal record from buying guns.  If that's the case than how'd this guy get shot?

Maybe the shooter came from out of state? It is the US you know, people can cross state lines without having their papers checked at the boarder.

Ig only he'd have used his 9 iron or cricket bat!

May be more to this story Though.

Quote
In June 2004, the family signed a 21-part settlement agreement that began with Donovan promising to pay his five children $6 million in cash.

The children would later claim that their father didn’t stick to the settlement terms. They went back to court, forcing mediation with a retired federal judge.

Family feud?

As someone pointed out, at least this happened in Mass., where everyone is safe because of the strict gun laws.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Curv,
You picked the wrong state to wack with your cricket bat.   Mass. has some of the toughest and strictist gun control laws in the country.

It is more like England than anywhere else in the states, add to that the fact that it happened in Cambridge, which is as close to socialist as this country gets.

as Archie Bunker once said "would you feel better about it if he was thrown from a window?"

if lack of gun access stops killings in your country, then you have a very uncreative population.

Hey Yeag!

Yeah, I just was up a little on Sunday.  Up till now, I had been very busy with coaching both my sons' fall teams.  I should have more free-time now as the winter is here.

I'm not sure how much Toad, Rude, Sax, etc. are flying right now.
