I want a jeep for scounting missions. Good visibility, a .50 mounted for defense. (yea right) . The halftracks lacks good vis for effective scout work and accelerate too slowly.

The jeeps were heavily armed with combinations of both Browning and Vickers K machine guns. The ex-aircraft Vickers weapons were generally mounted in pairs and a total of up to five machine guns were carried on some vehicles. The effectiveness of this armament firing a mix of ball, armour-piercing and tracer shells can be judged from one assault on an airfield where 12 aircraft were destroyed in a five minute raid. With all guns blazing a single SAS jeep could deliver an impressive 5000 rounds per minute! The net result was that over 400 aircraft had been destroyed on the ground by November 1942.

The SAS earned their kickarse reputation ;)

I think the US or somebody used a jeep outfitted with a 40mm anti-aircraft cannon or something, too. Had to chop the passenger's seat out and trim down the windscreen.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Try the M-8 ARMORED CAR, got pretty good speed and much better armor than a Jeep.

WE CUD RUNN HUUGE MISSINS!!!1!!! SAS JEPE RUNZ ARE SERIUS!!!111! BADAZZ VIKERZ PWN HANGERZ!!! AND TOWNBILDINGZ!!!11 RIGHT, FURBOL!!???????!

In addition to extreme air racing, we could have deathrace2000 nights in the SEA.

Although, in all honesty, GVs lost much of their appeal to me when they added invisible trees, and adjusted the vehicles so that they'd slam to halt whenever the terrain grade changed. Regardless, I'd love to see a jeep, simply because it's an icon. The jeep threads always seem to get a favorable response, and could be used to fill many small roles without horribly wrecking gameplay.

Three drunks or three vehicle supplies, 65 mph and a 50 cal, what's not to like.  I'd love to run it through fatcity.

Better yet, make it the Russian version with the option of pulling the tank killer (can't remember the  specification)  mounted on a pull behind trailer.
Easy in-game again.

I'd love to see a jeep with a .50cal on back or the SAS version. Would be anwasome recon vehical because it could go up hill, down hill, side hill, over the rivers, and threw the woods, to grandmothers house we go.

Maybe we could have a different gun set ups like for planes, add a drop tank, add extra guns, for the jeep it be like 4 sets,
-1 .50cal Machine gun
-SAS version like in the pictures above
-Recon version, like big binos on back (if the jeeps had those, or some kind of recon looking thing, for looking at great distances.
-Last 1 would be like 5 troop carrier. passenger seat and 4 on the back. Could use this to capture a base.

However recon missions are useless in Aces High and there are no parked aircraft, the jeep would be awesome to have :)

Besides, the GP was one of 4 elements that helped win the war (others being the C-47, bazooka and...?)

Weren't some mounted with a 75mm(?) recoiless rifle? Also, it would be quite fun to run troops with a few squadies in Jeeps, instead of one M3, imagine 5 or 6 Jeeps all screaming into a town. It's a great idea IMO.

Not true in the SEA.  Even in the MA, locating enemy tanks for squadies would be useful.
