He stayed back out of the jam until it was at a snails pace then pushed his way through..

He certaily knew how to work traffic.  But I think things got clear cuz he punted that yellow Elise.  It probably collected a couple of other cars in the process and made the cars behind him slow way down.

Not crazy, but I thing this guy is taking way more risk than he should. It paid off this time, but more than once he could have wreacked his car and a couple others in the process. He obviously knows his car/track very well, a more "concervative" driving might have allowed him to attack the guys on front 1 by 1 after a lap or two, with as much ease has passing the leader. "To win a race, you must first finish it" :)
