Tom Blackburn's book "The Jolly Rogers".

"Thunderbolt" by Bob Johnson

"To Fly and To Fight" by Bud Anderson

"Gabby, a Fighter Pilot's Life" by Gabby Gabreski.

That ought to get you started.

Doolittle's "I Could Never Be So Lucky Again" is another good one.

Yeagers second book "Press On" is an excellent read as well but deals more with his life after the military.

If you liked "Yeager" you will like "Press On"

Thanks for the tips. I'll definetley look them up.

I saw Chuck Yeager a year ago out at Edwards. He's getting old, but he still gets around ok. I bought an autographed book that I haven't even looked at yet, kind of afraid to read it, but it's all about him breaking the sound barrier. Lots of pictures.
