ok I need a opinion on these cards. The best card i see is the ATI RADEON X800 PRO 256mb DDR APG. But i dont have $350. All i have is about $150.
These are the ones i can afford:
PNY Verto GeForce FX 5500 128MB DDR PCI Graphics Card

ATI RADEON 9550 256MB DDR AGP Graphics Card

ATI RADEON 9250 256MB DDR PCI Graphics Card

ATI RADEON X700 PRO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card

Which is the one is the best outta of those 4?

Well, not all of them may be compatable with your system. Does your PC have a PCI or AGP slot?

For what its worth, I have found this game favors ATI cards.

The GeForce 6600gt is down around $150 now online ... seems like a pretty good card.

I assume your moterboard is AGP.

ok my mother board is PCI. So the X700 is the best.
The current graphics card i have isPCI ATI Radeon 256 MB X300 SE Express Graphics Card
Im looking at the ATI Radeon X700 PRO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express.

I would like to stick with the same brand of cards(Radeon)that were origanlly with my CPU when i bought it so i wont VOID the warrenty on the computer.

In PCI-xpress, you could even get X800 card for $150..

I think x800 is around 30% faster then x700.

$137 X800 but with 128mb of regular DDR memory ($107 after rebate)

Get what you want, regardless of the brand. You Voided the warranty the minute you split the case and broke the tape saying "Splitting this case and breaking the tape voids the warranty"

Having said that, I saw an earlier post saying you were off to better things via WW2online? What works best here may not be best there. First thing you should do is figure out what you will spend your prime time in.

I have found, however, that the past few ATI cards I've ran have been the better for me. Running 9700 pro Radeon at the moment, with 1.2ghz ram and AMD CPU.

Can't argue with the 70 frame rate in a furball. Not sure how it will stackup in WW2online though, having spent just enough time in that game to not care how it ran there.

Wrong I bought a 3 year warranty thats how im gettin a new harddrive without paying for it. My harddrive crashed last week.

Thanks but i will stick to the X700. I really dont trust shipments. The last few i had were 2+ weeks late. The last one, i ordered the new Battle of Britain game from the production company. They said it will take a week to setup the purchase and complete.Ok. 3 weeks later nothing. 5 week l8tr finally of a approved purchase allow 4-9 buisness days for order to arrive. 2 weeks l8tr nothin. 1 1/2 week l8tr finally got it. Was promised the game in 3 weeks MAX. took a total of 8 1/2 weeks to get a game. Never ordering from GMX media again:lol
