A Deep HeartFelt Thank You.
« on: January 03, 2006, 07:52:21 PM »
It was 2 Years ago today that I lost my younger Brother.
I came in here hurt, lost and in tears. 2 Years ago I lost one Brother, then found several more in here.
Last Year we lost Tessa to a hit and run driver. Tessa was my Brothers youngest Daughter.  And again you were here for me.  Today was a tuff day.

I Thank You with all my Heart!

Another day Mac. Rejoice in it and enjoy it because it's what you make it.

Keep smilin'.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Some days I'm sure you've wondered "why bother?"  Life can be rough.  There are no guarantees that the things or the people you love are safe, even with all the precaution in the world.  I'm sure they wondered the same thing.

You keep their memories alive, and that means something.  Someone remembers.  When you go, someone will do that for you, I'm sure.

Its not what you take when you leave this world behind you.  It's what you leave behind you when you go.

Mac,

The other 3 already covered pretty much what I was going to say. Hang in there buddy.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

The only thing promised in life, is death.  Live everyday like it's your last.
