What boxed sim/game to buy?
« on: July 21, 2001, 02:23:00 AM »
Heya!

Planning to buy one, what would you recommend?
Right now I prefer:
- good graphics (as I finally updated my pc)
- realism
- gameplay

Is it Jane's F/A-18 or USAF, Falcon 4 or what?
Perhaps a car race sim..?
Recommendations please!

Out of the three you mentioned, it's definitely Falcon 4 (other two aint close). Get it all patched up (email me for details) and yer off to the races.

Janneh I just bought X-Plane and thought its only a civil-flight sim with some fighters in it and no multiplay it sure is fun.
I've spent several hours modeling funny planes with its in-build "PlaneMaker".
PlaneMaker is easy to use but sometimes those own built planes also have strange flying charasteristics   :D

btw Harrier and Osprey are fun to fly too  :)

I also downloaded Realsoft3D program from www.realsoft.fi  and thought if I could learn some modelling. Looks like I got to buy some manuals first   ;)
