Well for crying out loud. For a second there I thought you were going to say he started WalMart........   :p

well, that would make sence: making use of a race that is percieved by some as inferior as cheap labor for an empire. sounds a lot like wall-mart.

If Red Army captured Hitler - he could be guarded as the most precious treasure in the world.

Western "allies" had to do almost anything to kill him. Things that he could tell in court could be lethal for some of them.

The idea for the Soviet troops was to capture him and keep him alive at any cost. Many times people who looked like Hitler got captured and then released without any harm. A legend about Cossacks who almost captured Napoleon in 1812 was used to explain that he had to be kept alive.

Strange that even in the 80s we have been told that Hitler's body wasn't found, while there were publications in the 1960s in USSR about people who examined his body and took in to USSR, one girl who served in that unit became a writer, I saw her interview on TV recently. His jaw was shown in Kremlin in 1995 before 50th anniversary of Victory, before that I didn't know he was found and identified.

Well, they could use such techniques to shut him down, not make him speak.

Politics is a dirty business. He had too many dirt that he could confess in court. Maybe he understood that and committed suicide to avoid what you suggested.

If he could be in Soviet hands - he could become the most deadly weapon before A-bomb.

What's wrong? We have a 10-days nation-wide vacation between New Year and Christmas, but I thougt that I got rid of alcohol intoxication already (didn't drink seriously since Jan, 1st)... Now I'm on beer. Most of the Russians will probably be back in reality after Old New Year, maybe on Jan, 15th, unfortunately - I have some work to do, so I am sober now, no more then 3 liters of beer daily.

I am sure Ramsey Clark would be there in a heartbeat.
