It reminds me of the Lexington Class Battle Cruiser but those BCs were converted in to CVs. Colorado Class maybe?

Looks an awful lot like a composite photo of what the Lexington WOULD have looked like. There's Vought Kingfishers on the aft catapults, but the ship looks like nothing ever comissioned.

That is the USS Colorado BB-45, USS Maryland was also a Colorado class BB. She was being refit in Seattle when Pearl Harbor was hit so she was one of the first old interwar BB's to be modernized.

I'm thinking the same as Widewing. Not anything we put in the water and other then 1 Battleship Class built in the US for Argintina, we were the only ones who used cage masts.

And no, it not the Colorado. Her refit did not add 100 feet of hull in the middle of the ship.
