Sorry not on the staff, but here's a suggestion:


How about a setup profiling the 78th Fighter Group?

All the Thunderbolts
All the Mustangs
The Heavy Bombers Only(B17 and B24)

Versus

All the 109s from the G model to the K model
All of the 190 Models
Ju-88

Rhine Map
Standard Vehicles, transport planes, base capture, etc........


Possibly run it for two weeks progressing the planeset through their rough dates of operational service.

I know this is completely off track for this thread and although if I still flew in AH you wouldn't find me complaining about a PTO setup :D , but I was just curious what people thought of my setup idea?  Also what do you think about the idea of extending setups to two weeks and making them a progressive setup?  

I also like the idea of centering some setups around the historical squads that fly in there, kinda help make people feel at home, enpowered, appreciated and heard.  Also in the name of giving fair shakes, the non historical squads would get thier chance at spelling out a setup, possibly one that centers around thier squad's "style" or "personality".  Just an idea and admitedly not well thought out.  But nonetheless I would appreciate the feedback.

Again I am not on the staff, so this information would be just for my own personal curiosity.  I don't know maybe I'm seeing things wrong or I'm off my rocker, but I just see so much more potential for the CT.  Does anybody else share this opinion.

I also have to place this disclaimer here:  This is not a knock at anyone or a claim that the staff is falling short, so please don't take it that way.  It is purely contructive and an attempt to produce a dialogue.  I know I have attempted it many times before and always seem to hit a brick wall, but I'm not giving up! :)

I think its a fine idea Bug. You can easily make an otherwise normal CT setup, but by a few small tweeks here and there make it something specific for a particular squad. Your example illustrates that well IMO.

I've been a big advocate for the RPS.  Although I'm not willing to say I believe that it would work without a shadow of a doubt, I am still at a loss as to why it hasn't been at least given a one month test. :(
