In the Okinawa setup
Would it be too much to ask for gun positions to be enabled for axis?
Tonight I joined and  there were a CVs right off the base. There were 2 guys sitting in 5" guns practically vulching. I took off from another field in a ki84 with bombs, but was not able to get close enough to drop because of those two. I upped a ki67 and climbed to about 10k and dropped and took out a few guns, but there was so much flak from the 2 fleets I was killed shortly after flying over the ships.
I did manage to drop bombs on a cruiser with a ki84 before being hit by the 5" and took out 4 hard gun batteries and 2 gun emplacements. I switched bish and there was no damage to the ship (i looked at both fleets). Me and kong just left, no bish were upping planes and whenever one did, if we engaged it the 5" would pound us.

yup it happened as I was on the allied side.  the player in question was vultching with the 5"s and also killing IJA furballers who were being lured over the allied ack by, well hence the term ackllieds.  the more the CT staff wants to prevent vultching the more the timid and clever minxes come up with devilish ways to mess up the aerial fights.  down times should be much more lenghty in the CT (on the order of two hours for everything) and base capture needs to be set at 100 troops.  if this is a realism based arena that would be realistic.  please stop the BS, thanks.
