How about perk reset
« on: January 08, 2006, 08:27:54 PM »
How about reseting the perks every month, we all have like 7000 at least and there is just no reson for it.  Is there really anyone who cannot fly the plane they want because they dont have the perks?  I mean even 50 perks for a plane is really nothing. If they were reset each month then using a perk plane would mean something.

Well, if i keep flying the 262 the way i did today....Ill run out of perkies soon. ;)

And, remeber when you first started out? How long did it take for you to get the first 100 perks?

Now, thats not even half a 262 (depending on the ENY of course).
21 is only half the truth.

That's why I like the Idea of adding the MiG -15 and F-86 :D

Enable them when a country is getting ganged, and charge 500perks for each of them. to at least get the country getting it up the rear a fighting chance. Or charge 700 perks hell even add the B-29 as a super perk bomber, but no Nuke.

And what purpose would this serve ? ... what's your point ?

I have no where near 7000 perks ...

This system would make it so getting perks means something, When I land 4 perks it really does not mean anything.  in this system it might.

If you reset perks every month then those people who keep paying there accounts every month even though they are unable to play for a couple of months have no reason to keep paying!

Change your name, or delete your account and create a new one every month. That way, you'll never have many perks, and they'll mean something to you. Problem solved, without screwing the rest of HTC's customers.

No reason other than keeping their game-id and pure comfort factor.

I have 400 or so fighter perks now again after I blew all of them flying suicide missions with the 262.

makes NO sence... i know some players personally that only get to log on about 4 hours per week total...

1 in particular has been saving perks for a couple of years, and he has not broken 1000 ever. why should players like that be punished?

90% of people save perks with no intention of ever using them.

Reminds me of many retards who save money just for the sake of saving it, living in relative poverty and all money in the bank. Nuts.

I'm talking about the guys who dont fly enough to earn 1000's of perks.

i should re-state the guy i am talking about in 2 years has not earned 1000 perks even. he's lucky to get 10 perks in a night tops. he's a good pilot, but wife ack barely lets him on, and when he is on he doesn't care about landing kills for perks. just about flying for fun. i know there are quite a few out there like that.
