So how long until Cheney resigns for health reasons (see latest hospital visit) and Rice is made VP so she can have a jump at the 2008 presidential elections against Hillary?  Is it about to happen?

....and then Bush "accidentally" chokes on a pretzel so Condi can enter the race as the incumbent?

how about Gulliani (sp) replacing him, so he can run as incumbent? I don't think Dr. Rice will run. but I can see any number of Republican Gov's. or other favorites being put into that postion for that reason.

Do you really think Rudy Giuliani should run after his poor performance in the family values department?

I'm not talking conspiracy, I'm talking strategy.

Behind every good strategy there's a conspiracy.

I'm for them - does not mean I want Rudy to run for anything, just saying...

I was thinking about that very thing earlier this morning.

I don't think he will resign for anything though.  I think it far more likely he simply won't survive the rest of his term because of his health.  Hasn't the guy had like four heart attacks and several surgeries?

For the record, I hope I'm wrong.

In 1996, just after the national conventions, I sent an email to Max Baucus:
"How was the caucus, Baucus?"
& got the reply
"Raucous."
