Mic issue
« on: January 10, 2006, 01:28:37 PM »
Have a new headset that is less than a month old.  Works fine in Ventrillo and Teamspeak ... however I can't seem to get it to work for AH.  I have mapped keys .. and even tried to map to my X-45 ... still no luck.

I can hear fine ... but would love to be able to respond and give warnings verbally.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check if its working properly in your DxDiag.

In windows, go to START > Run. Type 'dxdiag' into command line, wait for the program to check your system.
On the 'network' sheet, theres a button 'DirectPlay Voice Options'. Run that one to test the mic.

Then ingame, go to SETUP > PREFERENCES > VOICE. Check the volume of mic input there.
