Warship Quiz # 4
« on: January 09, 2006, 08:05:17 PM »

Since the previous pics didn't seem to be much of a challenge to Widewing we will "Bump it up a Notch" and see how you guys do.

Extra Points if you can tell me what is particularly interesting about this Warship.

Good Luck!  :aok

Yugoslavian 1930s DD "Dubrovnik"?  If so, captured by Italians from Yugoslavians, then by Germans from Italians.

Yup, that is the Dubrovnik, it was built in Britain. It was "aquired" from the Yugoslavian Navy by the Italians in '41, and renamed Premuda. It was "aquired" in much the same way by the Kriegsmarine in '43 and renamed TA32. It was scuttled by its crew in '45 in Genoa.
