We want to rename Combat Theater to avoid confusion with Combat Tour. My suggestion is Theater of Operations. Any other suggestions?

"Axis vs. Allied arena"...

This would be a title anyone would instantly recognize... especially if the advent of CT(Combat Tour) draws in more new players to AH. A very classic name.

These are suggestions from the CT staff forum:
Historical Arena, Historical Events Arena, Axis vs Allied, Axis & Allies, Battle Arena, The War Room, WWII Theatre, Axis vs Allies, Classic Air battles, Historical plane setups, Historical Combat Arena.

Actually, the Theater of Operations sounds nice (and exciting) - it might not be as descriptive as the Axis vs Allied, but I like it.

Has some continuity (sp?) with "Theater"...

You left out my suggestion ("Main Arena").

We understand that this decision is supposed to be made THIS WEEK, folks, which doesn't leave much time (like, one day).

My vote at this stage is "Historic Arena," or "Axis v. Allied," with a mild preference for the former.

I just heard that WWIIOnline is now called "Battleground Europe", so how about renaming the CT as "WW2OL"? (No, not my own idea, this was suggested by Camo).

I'm having a hard time deciding whether Axis v. Allied "AA" (

) or Theater of Operations "ToO" would be better... Somehow the "Historic Arena" sounds too dusty (to me) although I like my WWII history books.

Axis vs Allied- AvA. Sounds ok, not my favorite but it works.
