So what?! When it comes to winning and showing who's best the Dueling Arena, arguments on ch. 200 and trading insults on the BBs don't do it. Racing against your fellow community members does.
This weeks airplane is the P-51B and this is the official posting from which the racers prepare. If you think you're hot stuff...put that theory to the test on Tuesday at 10pm Eastern in the Special Events Arena.
If you can't hack it...we'll put your name on the plaque in the ladies room.

Here's the race for this week:

Season 3 Race 7
1/17/2006
Terrain: Slot
Start Field: A1 (Knight)
VOX channel: 200
Plane: P-51B
Fuel Burn: ***To Be Announced***
Fuel: Player Choice
Takeoff NE
F3 view enabled
Heats: 3
Laps per Heat: 8
GullGutz Start
Flying Finish at Bomber Hanger.
Takeoff Northeast from A41 and the first turn is a reversal passing back through the grass bomer hangar passing through southwest. Once through the bomber hangar pass around both the water tower and radar tower keeping them to your left (port) side heading south toward the A1 town. Chicane through the radar towers passing around the first to the left (keeping it off your right wing) and the second to the right (keeping it off of your left wing) and now turning northeast toward A41 town. The approach to the town is done "blind" meaning you cannot see it directly from the A1 town. Choose your lines carefully! You must pass northwest through the two radar towers using them as a gate and then pass between the radar and water tower at A41 in order to fly through the A41 grass bomber hangar heading northeast. Left turn once through the hangar and it's back to A1 to fly southwest through the grass hangar which will be the finish line for each lap and the race.
***Important Note!*** I will announce fuel burn on race day. Throwing a little monkey wrench into the works with fuel management and selection to test the risk/reward assessment with fuel/weight savings. I will guarantee that 100% internal fuel will last the entire length of the race. Pit Stops will NOT be a requirement however are an option. Drop tanks will not be required but will too be an option.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a more traditional shaped race course putting a premium on race/fuel management but will also allow the P-51B's to stretch their legs and accelerate through each lap of the race. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there!
