That first picture got my memory bank going. I'll never forget one of my trips across that Bay bridge, well half way across it at least :)
It was right after the 1989 earthquake and I had a service call to work on the ATM at the Treasure Island Credit Union. It was so un-congested that I think there were only two other vehicles on it with me. The Police warned us to not exceed 20mph on the way across it.
I was sort of lucky that day we had the quake I guess. The shop was across from the Oakland Coliseum and I had driven on the part that collapsed 15 minutes before it pancaked.
Nice pictures and thanks for the memories.

I live on socal decided to go to SF on a vacation. Nice place interesting history and all that. But the thing that stands out most in my mind is the $75.00 I paid for a night in a pretty nice hotel and the $85.00!!! it cost to park my car at said hotel.

I used to have to park downtown often for work. Luckily I was reimbursed or I couldn't have afforded it.

Camera is D70, and those pics are not mine; they are made by my friend. I posted them here with permission, figured some people might like 'em. :aok

I didn't even see the Asian guy in the background.  I was distracted by the boobies.

Anyway, so that's 3 guys at 1 intersection taking pictures in 3 different directions.  Must be a picturesque city!
