That first picture got my memory bank going. I'll never forget one of my trips across that Bay bridge, well half way across it at least

It was right after the 1989 earthquake and I had a service call to work on the ATM at the Treasure Island Credit Union. It was so
un-congested that I think there were only two other vehicles on it with me. The Police warned us to not exceed 20mph on the way across it.
I was sort of lucky that day we had the quake I guess. The shop was across from the Oakland Coliseum and I had driven on the part that collapsed 15 minutes before it pancaked.
