Oh its happening...oh yes.

I'm going skiing in Quebec.  I leave here on Saturday, arrive Mt. Tremblant on Sunday.

I just looked at the weather reports...they say its gonna rain today there.  RAIN?  In Quebec?  In January????

I sure hope the US signs that treaty thingy....and soon.  It is getting in the way of my ski holidays.

:cry

Every since the earth has formed there have been extremes. Mini cycles of off the charts weather.

Little Ice Age in Europe during the dark ages.

The dirty 30's in the US during the depression.

No one has been saying it, but it acts like an el nino year to me.
Floods in Southern California, mild temps & ice storms up north.

Granted the weather has been funky the last couple of years and yes, it looks like it could be getting worse.

Is "global warming" my first answer? Hmmm no, could be the "end of the world as we know it" though!

They have not even scientificly proven that global warming exists yet.
Or at least hadn't the last I heard.

We've had 27" of new snow in a 24 hour period in the Cascade ski areas. I think the base is something like 115 inches. Come out to WA state Curval! :)

Come to Oregon instead, Curvy.  When you're done skiing, you can take a side trip to the beach and see beautiful in a whole new way (no, I'm not talking about a special walk and handholding session, though that can be arranged :D).
Three Times One Minus One.  Dayum!

Well, I would like to change locations except it has been booked for months and we'd lose our cash if we backed out now.

There is just a weird warm spell going through Quebec right now...if it was colder we'd be skiing in fresh powder.

...and the locking jokes, scooter jokes...they are HILARIOUS guys.  WTG.:aok

I actually forgot about your carelessness in regards to properly securing your property, until you reminded me of it yesterday in another thread, Curv.  :t

There is no such thing as global warming. Chuck Norris was cold, so he turned the sun up.

Just checked with the resort...the rain has turned into "freezing rain" and they forecast it to turn to snow by tonight, which *should* negate any loss of snow from the rain.

Then the weather is expected to get cold again with snow almost every day we are there.

My fingers are crossed.

Rip,
Have you been before?

We took our boys two years ago, and stayed onsite.  If you need any helpful hints, let me know.
