Is there a way to change the drones flying above airfields in the offline mode?  Not that it really matters, but I would much prefer to shoot down planes that were shot down by the plane I'm flying.
Eg.  If I'm flying a Corsair I would want to change the Fw-190 to a Zeke and the B-24 to a "Betty".

Thanks in advance for any info.

Nope, though it has been requested several times.

And we don't have a G4M "Betty", just the much nastier Ki-67 "Peggy".

be glad for the variety....

for years and years they were all p51's. it has been asked for a change in them for a long time.

personally i think it is a good mix. bomber, small target (190), medium sized plane p51, and large fighter p38.

Why does it really matter what aircraft are flying up there....They just fly a nice slow circle around the field. Not like there evading you when you fly up to them.

That's not really the point I'm trying to make, I just think it'd be nice to shoot down 109's in a Spit while I'm practicing or whatever.  I don't know if it's just me, but there's something odd about flying a P-51 and shootin down those B-24s.:(

Oh yeah, and one more thing, I wish the damage would apply to the drones too.  I think it's a bit pathetic that when you blast off a couple of engines off a Liberator, then shoot the other wing off it doesn't hurtle into the ground.  Sadly, it carries on flying in that same perfect circle. :huh

You guys need to stop dissin' the off line practice area!  That area has done more for my gunnery practice than you'll ever know!  As long a I find an enemy aircraft in a slow, gentle left hand bank at 200 mph - he's toast!:aok

How about you set yourself up a nice little H2H room with spits and 109's.
