Not quite sure how giving animals shots of vodka helps, except to ease their suffering I suppose. A very russian gesture I think

how can giving the animals bozze help them? just thins the blood and you get colder, thay trying to kill them??? poor little critters that vet. or who ever gave that order should get drunk and go run around in the snow naked for a bit see how he/she feels ....... saw on the news tonite it was like 30 below zero there brrrrrrr and its in the 50's here in Boston...

I think we are in the low 80's today. Maybe high 70's. (F) Ticks me off. We are going to have a plague of insects this summer if we do not get a good solid cold spell soon.

yep booze makes you feel warmer as you freeze to death faster.

Just got a call from a dealer in Saskatchewan. Said a water line in one of our trailers froze. I asked the temp... 40 below! But it got up to -21! I don't think he appreciated my laugh.

It's been -40 centigrade in Northern Finland today, -60 deg. C in Siberia. Hell, it's -20 C (-4F) here where I live (Central Finland, Tampere). And a week ago it was raining...

We've been weather crazy all "Winter"

In October we had our first snow, and are heaviest so far this winter. And highly unusual for us. We've had a fair amount of snow, But for the last week or so, The weather has changed dramatically about every other day. Wenesday we had 40mph winds and inch of snow or two. Today? 55 Degrees, calm.
