Cav, Creton, Zorstorer, im 100% with you on this. Hurri1 is hard to kill. Great plane.

But, like Oleg said, also hard to get a kill in if the other guy knows what hes up against. Hence the outcome of the fight. Neither Dano nor me could get a  shot off, we simply ran each other out of fuel. But what fun it was!!

Ted, im gonna respond for one last time on that one: You havent been in the TA lately, have you? And i thought you had 'taught' me how to fly my Hurri1 long ago....BTW, i didnt post this film cause i wanted it analysed, or wanted to point out 'how tos'' and 'how not tos' - i posted this film because i really really enjoyed that fight, enjoy watching the film and wanted to share that.

Thanks again for last nights fun! I had a great one and a half hour getting my lovely butt handed back to me by you. I could post any of those fights here as well, they were all much fun. Youre a class act and one heck of a pilot >S<.

I think the MK-1 is fine in the MA when flown by someone who knows how to fly it.  I myself managed to chase down a typh night befor last and saw his wing off with lots and lots and lots of ping ping ping ping . :)
That will teach him to get low and slow.  I didn't stick around to get a second kill as this was in a massive furball and I wasn't going to push my luck any more than that. :D
From the ashes of the old we rise to fly again. Behold The Phoenix Wing!

Recently I've found a couple of very well flown MkIIC in the Main Arena. To my surprise they engaged aggressively my K-4  at high speed and/or climbing very well up to 20K+.

Really, it was a nasty surprise: the thing can be dangerous not only in the usual (and IMO rather annoying) turn&burn combat style.

That was odd of you Schatzi too be over 10-K.Were you feeling sick that day?

If you like the Hurri-MkI so much why not the P-40-B?

Those two are about as different as night and day. The only thing they have in common is: they are both slow and early war. As for why the Hurri: Loves a funny thing. You never know why this one and not another.

The P40 can be a fun ride too though, just ask Filth. We had a few nailbiter runins in the past.
