Im trying to save myself some money here, and not go out and buy a whole new headlight assembly.

I own a dodge ram that has some serious moisture in the headlight, and Im curious if any of you fellas know a good way of removing this dampness, and getting a tight seal back on the headlight so this problem doesn't occur again. It really looks like pooh.

I'd look around for a silicone type sealant. I would imagine they'd have it at the local Autozone or what not. Have to figure out where that leak is first though, and i don't even want to start talking about how to do that. Look around the asembly for any scratches or breaks. I'd say seal and joints around the assembly too as long as you can still take out the light if needed.

Good luck. Once the seal is broken, it is nearly impossible to fix without making a big unsighlty mess. If you have to get a new assembly, go to a junkyard. You can get one pretty cheap there.

Yeah if you do end up having to replace it, stealer costs are going to be in the hundreds of dollars. Never done a headlight assembly mysef but I can't imagine it would be extremely hard. Disconnect a few plugs, undo a few bolts.....speaking like a true naive teen aren't I?

dril hole (small one) in plastic on the bottom of the light , moisture should gone, then pat it with AC glue or silicone to seal it

Yea, but mositure problem is still there and moisture will come back. Get a headlight assembly at a junkyard for 100 bucks and put it in. Its easy and no more worries.
