I'm sure he's going to say "great" but that's because he is now pushing an agenda. Also, keep in mind he hasn't been playing WW2 online for very long so he is a noob. Remember when you 1st started here and it was all neat and new? Same thing is happening to him now. I'd like to hear from him in 6 months or a year and then I'd respect his opinion more. On top of that, I tried WW2OL about 2 years ago, I gave it about 3-5 months of my time.... IMO it sucked. Long periods of boredom trying to get to a fight and then what we call "spawn campers" in this game are the norm there. No one was very friendly in the help department. Not to say they were rude just talking to, but they didn't go much out of their way to help. Also, the air aspect of the game is terrible! I've played many flight sims in my day and it is truely 1 of if not THE worst. As for the ground war aspect I think it's pretty good although battlefeild and others would rank higher IMO.

Lan, it's good to that you found a game you enjoy. But coming back here and preaching what you are is very insulting to HTC. I wouldn't be surprised to see threads like this locked soon.

I remember flying down roads in WW2OL in a Ju87 and knocking over trucks and tanks with my landing gear.

Just a couple days ago I talked with a guy who returned to AH from WW2OL. He said the planes are all modeled to hell there, for example if you touch the rudder of a 109 it begins to wobble constantly after that. Had something to do with removing an invisible third wing from the flightmodel. :D

He said (and this comes from a guy who played WW2OL 2 years straight with no AH account) that AH gameplay feels like heaven after the bugs and quirks of WW2OL.

To be fair he also praised the general concept, the fun landfights etc. but we both agreed that WW2OL was a staggering concept destroyed only by poor implementation.

Aces High II is the past, its the next to last thing i think about. I AM NOT COMING back. For once the 15$ a month is worth it this time, WWII online is just plain fun. If you disagree then check it out urself, alot has changed since the new WWII online version came out a few months ago. Better graphics, More Steady FPS. And speaking of FPS my frame rate in there is higher than in Aces High. In AH i was around 29 FPS, In WWIIOL im at 35-40.

Flying on WWII Online is more realistic? Yeah, right. The flight on that game is like flying on Tribes 2 or Battlefield.

There aren't nearly enough people on WWII Online to make it worthwhile. The only really interesting part is when you get a group of tanks to assault an enemy base.

Enough with the idiotic whining. If you suck at a realistic flight sim, leave it at that and be done with it. WWII Online was a flop when it was released, and it hasn't gotten much better.
