Bah ... I use to let the smokers leave the scene, until as Lev pointed out ... they faked it and then they come back and either kill someone else or take me out cause I have dismissed them and am involved with someone else. Not any more ... If your red ... then your dead.

If your a vulchin' puke and your engine is smoked or deadstick ... I will kill you with great pleasure ... especially if you are trying to ditch ... nothing better than poppin' a puke on the ground with no wings.

I have on a couple of occasions when involved in a 1 v 1 with no one else around, allowed the smoker to leave the scene with his/her life ... but if there is at least one red guy in the area ... then you die.

And if your in a chute ... whoa baby ... target practice time ... nothing better than poppin' a meat popsicle.

After all ... everytime we make someone cry ... God creates a kitten.

Yup, did this to shreck the other night. Smoked his La7... Naturally he hi the deck and started running for home. I got tangled up with 2 spit16's only to look back and see shreck reversing back in for a pick. Lucky for me I was able to reverse in time to fill his face with lead before I got rammed by one of the spit16s.

Be nice if you like, but realize that the social politics of the game really do not reward that sort of behavior.  Thus we would rarely expect to observe it.

As i said... i dont expect that sort of behaviour, at least not in the MA. It simply wouldnt be 'human'. I *do* sort of expect it in the DA and to a degree in the AvA.

To me this game is about enjoying myself. I dont take satisfaction from killing basically defenseless planes, hence the reason why i let them go. Purely selfish in a way.

And let me add that this sort of "battle honor" and respectful manners towards red planes *does* exist in MA. Few and far between (as you can usually count on a BK screaming through and cherry picking ;)) but it is there. Lets hope it never vanishes completely.

HAHAHHAHAHAHA  Dr. Phil is so useless.

So what no one is going to complain that there are more than 2 BKs on this thread LOLH.

If I have a good fight and I mortally wound a plane, F yeah I'm gonna kill it if only to know who put up a good fight.

If I end up ditching, I'll sit there till someone kills me.  There is nothing worse than leaving a fight except to RTB or getting killed.  Anything else means you aren't fighting hard enough.

Slap you gotta cut back on the meat popsicles they will make you fat and your fingernails grow.  :D

Save the chivalry for the ladies.  we'll in this case they did. :D

depends, if i know who the enemy pilot is and i respect the person, then yeah i may let em leave, but like so many of you have pointed out, smokers and flamers usually come back and try for the HO because at that point they don't care about dying... Most of the time though I won't leave my perch to go chasing after some yahoo that is now diving to the deck after i sprayed some bullets into his engine or whatever, unless maybe he did something dweebish like try and HO me, then teh must die

It's like steppin on ants.  You've got the upper hand and they're totally helpless.  The PETA part of you says you shouldn't, but then the cherry-pickin-vulcher in you says you should.

I'll pretty much always try and smoke 'em now.  The last time when I escorted someone towards home, they called all their squaddies in La7s to jump my arse.  Chivalry
