you don't like the way we drive, stay the hell off the sidewalks.

Pissing away the tax payers money on programs that are designed to combat something, yet are failing miserably? Pissing away the tax payers money on various bloat programs that do nothing more than feel good nonsense, and at the end of the day accomplish nothing?

Ensuring that the government doesn't sit around all day trying to figure out new ways to circumvent the laws in place to keep them in check, which in turns forces the voters to actively go out in numbers, actively start a campaign to force a vote by the American people, and hope that enough Americans are paying attention in order to beat the government's ambitions to see, hear and control the populace in the name of safety?

And is the party gonna be called the "Give no info to the voters" party or the "We're all really slow typists" party?

what's welfare?  my government wouldn't be able to afford it.  No one in my government could afford to give more than about 10-20% of their money to charity... like everyone else.

Speed limits?   Cities could impose their own as could states.

Their would be no tax on cars at all... there would be an enterprise tax on fuel that would go into an untouchable fund for road repair... road repair contracts would be awarded on a bidding process by area.   Tax would rise and fall based on condition of roads.

the only problem with that is "northern" states.

up to 15 X the ammount of road maintenence is needed where the ground freezes. people in AZ could drive 15 X cheaper than in minnesota for example.

what would that do to the commercial shipping industry? OTR truckers would pay a huge penalty for deliveries in cold climates. companies would charge more for deliveries there, customers would not only get screwed in paying more to drive to work, they'd pay more for goods too.

Hmm how about we kick global warming up a few notches, then the northern states would not have much snow and ice.

Then move to a place it's more hospitable? :) Kinda like people screaming about housing prices in Los Angeles, but absolutely refusing to move some place cheaper.

so i need to move to LA....

if you say move someplace "more hospitable" meaning better climate, fine, but then it gets overcrowded there.

then also the ones left "up north" have to pay even more because there will still be the same ammounts of roads, just less people to take money from.

can you say catch 22 :lol
