Dont think ya can get rid of that one but a freeware program called "EndItAll" was recommended to me a few years back; quick and easy program to kill a lot of unneeded background processes. Helps my gameply a lot (If it only helped my fighting)

I did a search and followed a link for a "Vundofix" program to help find/kill the winfixer vundo @#!@$!#@%!$#^!#^!#@$^@#$%@# virus thing.

Found about 6 files and killed them...problem no more :)

Hey, I know you fixed the problem, but for general purposes i'm going to say this anyways.

If your Windows 98, this would not apply to you, DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS.

Win 2K, and Win XP only.

If your game play is running slow because of tasks. Press: Ctrl + Shift + Esc.

Now, look for tasks other than Aces High that are running unusual levels of CPU usage. In the case Golfer had, you can end the task "Explorer.exe" safely and still re-up it without any hassles.

Simply left-click on the task, then press Alt + E or press the big: End Task button.

Once your ready to re-up the process (This is an example of how to re-up Explorer.exe, other program types may vary in how to re-up them.), simply press: Ctrl + Shift + Esc again. Now go to: File>New Task

 Now type in: Explorer.exe
and press the Enter key or just press the big "OK" button.

If that wont work, press the big "Browse" button. Find your way to your C:\ drive directory. Depending on your system type, explorer.exe is located in one of these 2 directories:

Win 2K:
C:\WINNT\system32\explorer.exe

Win XP:
C:\windows\system32\explorer.exe

If that's confusing enough, well, sorry, that's just how I am.:D
