Hi Guys -

I've got a webpage for my restoration project for my 1964 chevy impala convertible. My webpage is pretty crude. I've got all my pictures loading on the page full size (640x480).

I saw another guys webpage where he had the pictures load as thumbnails and if you clicked on them, they would come up full size. I looked at the webpage script and it looked like this...

Could someone explain to me how the above works? If I want to change all my pics to thumbnail previews, and have them expand full size when clicked, how would I do that? I'm assuming that pictures loading at thumbnail size would load considerably faster

what are you making the site in?

frontpage can do that for you automatically.

I don't have any webpage software (probably my problem). I've been hardcoding it in Notepad

I have thumbnails on my site that open in a new window when clicked..I cheated and used Yahoo sitebuilder...I HATE coding.

Of course my site can never be as fancy as alot of em out there as Sitebuilder is pretty limited if you don't want to do any coding on your own like me.

what you have to do is create and upload two different img, one thumbnail, one full size, put the full size on it's own page.
then you link the small img to the full size page, don't make the file size of the big img too large or download time will be too long.

i think there is some free/shareware web page builders you can download. makes the job easier.
