Granted its  a weak roster for  the  presidential candidicy in 2000, however, do you think that Georges' honest opinion of a obviously left wing slanted reporter makes George anything less in your eyes?

I didn't hear what he said, but it sounds true   If you ever need a good example of the biased media watch Good Morning America.  They have gore or leiberman on there almost everyday, I've yet to see G.W. there.

This morning I woke up turned on GMA (my initials are SM, I like to torture myself w/ Charlse Gibson and Dianne Sawyer) they were playing tape of G.W. giving a campain speech, talking over him while he's speaking no less.  Then they switch to the studio camera and there's ole Joe Lieberman in studio AGAIN Attacking G.W. with nobody there to refute what he's saying. Oh yeah that's ballance.

Another thing, does anybody remember just exactly who it was that got us those nifty little warning labels on albums? Tipper her self. These people are hipocrates, Gore is a big a LIAR as klinton, only he doesn't do it as well. Remember these fine words?  "No controlling legal authority" uttered by algore after he illegaly took campain money from Budist NUNS who all had taken VOWS OF POVERTY How do poor nuns get $10000 a piece? hmmmm? Oh yeah most of them were from China.

ALSO, in the last 8 years there is only ONE time I remember the vice president actualy doing his constitutional duty. When he cast the tie braking vote on klintons tax bill back in '93. Giving this nations it's largest tax increase EVER.  Gore will try and take the center in this election, but he's further left than ole billy boy, and don't be fooled by his lies.

Why is it the left always has to lie to achive their goals?

OOO-die: "Why is it the left always has to lie to achive their goals?"

Some quotes:

Samuel Butler:
"Any fool can tell the truth, but it requires a man of some sense to know how to lie well."

Benjamin Disraeli (1804-1881):
"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."

AND, last but not least, my favorite, since Lenin exposed this the most within the communist regrime:

Lenin:
"A lie told often enough becomes the truth."

Hell I respect the guy for giving his honest feelings, if someone is an amazinhunk they are an amazinhunk, no need to sugar coat it.  The only channel I can get half way decent news on is FOX, the rest are so blatantly liberal its sickening.   Watch Bill O'Reilly, he equally slams both parties manly for roadkill statements.  The news he reports backed by facts are rarely seen on any other station if at all.  The campaign funding is the tip of the iceberg for good ole' al.  Also why does Al make "Rich" an evil term, like its bad to have money.  I dont want other peoples money or free handouts from the government, only thing it owes me is protection.  Leave me alone and let me live somewhat free.

This class warfare MUST stop, it only leads to socialism.  Lets see, hammer the wealthiest people in taxes, usually the ones running the businesses and investing the most and give it to the poor and helpless to equal out.  Sounds like communism to me, soon they will want to tell us what jobs we should have.

Watch how many Santa claus things Al promises to the people with no freakin way to pay for it all.  Also see how many times he slams the "Rich".  What a horseshit term.

Dnil, whats sad is, those who 'earn' their way to being 'successful' in financial terms.  I began in Seattle with $100 and suitcase full of clothes, after 22 years, my wifes income and mine classify us in the eyes of the IRS as "Rich", however, our property taxes ALONE ($4200 a year ) and our house payment ($2000/month) make our income meager.  Sure, we have a very nice house and land, but hey, we 'earned' it, by working hard, saving money, investing wisely, but now we're labeled as 'rich'.  It takes the incentive to work even harder out.  The Al Gore type gov't wants to take money out of the 'working-class-who worked hard-to-become-successful" and distribute it to those who have no incentive to work for their own success.

Exactly rip, socialism.

Rich and wealthy arent the same thing.  Good ole Al wants to make those he classifies as "Rich" decidely less wealthy.

Either way, let the people have their own money and friggin leave it alone, some guys with state and local taxes figured in pay close to 60% in taxes, holy crap!

Sad thing is he will rally every uneducated, Hard copy informed person in America to vote for him.  Watch when they ask Joe blow on the street about his opinion, most have zero clue and most vote off of 10 second sound bites, truly sad.

That's what scares me about their tactic, the dumber, more ignorant, the populus becomes the better it works for them and the easier it is to dumb them down even more.  At some point though, it seems to me, that their system has to collapse under it's own weight, unfortunately it crashes on US.

Another thing that realy blows my mind is how so many people can put all their faith in government. Something that's subject to total change ever 2 and 4 years, hence something that could leave them hanging in the wind high and dry.  Then I think of all the wonderful things our government did for the American Indians, and those glorious Tuskegee syphilis test on all those African American men back in the 30's.  Now we know what syphilis does all the way up to the point of death. Ooh yeah good ole government, lost of reason to trust it.

I wish the founding fathers would have put a reset button on the Constitution.  A button that reverts it to it's default form.

Welp there i go rambling off again, better stop now

Well, I missed this...

What did GB say and what did they report?

Bush and Cheney approach the mic on the podium, they are waving at the crowd, the mic is on for the reporters to hear, but not the crowd.  Bush sees a journalist in the crowd and turns to Cheney and says, "There's So-n-So (sorry, forgot the slanted reporters name), He's a major-league ass-hole", and Cheney says "Yeah, big time".

Hey, honesty sometimes hurts!

Bah

American politics.

Who cares what he said in private?
He just seems like a igger hypocrite than before, after all he was gonna install integrity and honor to the white house.

Pretty hard to do when you run around calling  those who disagree with your views for world class amazinhunks.

He showed his true nature there, and I am quite sure the Gore dude will do the same.

Lying pieces of crap, politicians.

Yehaw, wtg rip  . American dream still possible then?

however, our property taxes ALONE ($4200 a year ) and our house payment ($2000/month) make our income meager.

Sure, we have a very nice house and land, but hey, we 'earned' it, by working hard, saving money, investing wisely, but now we're labeled as 'rich'.

Yeh, I see yer point. Still, do the following and then count the money you have: sell the house. Move to a small apartment, like where I live (more like a room). Drop the car. Drop expensive habits.
Let the kids go to cheap colleges Don't indulge in vacations. Buy only life necessities. I guarantee you you'll be rich compared to me

Hell, I am pretty sure you're rich compared to me even WITH all of the above

Maybe it's all about priorities. I cannot get myself to say "I am poor because I have no money left over on my salary", if I've spent it on a big house, big car, luxury items and whatnot

For all intents and purposes, if your income is significantly above the average, you'll be classified as rich. Your spending habits or priorities then dictate how much money you actually have to play with  .

I'll never have any money. I burn 'em as I gettum. Still, I hope to be rich

It takes the incentive to work even harder out. The Al Gore type gov't wants to take
money out of the 'working-class-who worked hard-to-become-successful" and distribute it to those who have no incentive to work for their own success.

Yeah. that's what's wrong with ALL socialist systems; rewarding irresponsibility and punishing the responsible.

But, Gore is pretty moderate compared to the people around here. Very moderate in fact. Your worst case scenario ain't that bad.

Btw, regarding property tax; i never understood the concept. Why the HELL should you be forced to pay TAXES for something you've ALREADY paid for and paid SALES tax on? Something to do with investing in property and later selling them?

"oh, you own a computer. That'll be $5 a month, please. How many forks do you have?"

Imagine going to McDonalds and being charged $10 dollars to much.  When ya ask for it back, they say no, we know better then you on what to spend it on.  We need a new milkshake machine.  You scream saying its your money and you were overcharged, and they say no its theirs.

Would make ya go ballistic wouldnt it?  Hello tax surplus!

Telling anyone how to spend their money is socialism.  I dont work for the bum on the corner, I work for me and my family.  I understand certain necessities that have to be paid for and I am all for that.  Roads, defense, and a few others.  But government handouts have to stop and personal responsibilty has to begin.
