I wish the ammo counters on the spits where up top where you can see them without the stick blocking the view of the cannon count

Personally, I'd rather not have ammo counters in planes that historically didn't have them at all (which I think is everything but later German aircraft). Either that, or instead of making it part of the cockpit instrumentation, have it as an optional "Heads Up" display that can be turned off.

Nothing like calculating the seconds of fire in your head.

I wish there weren't any ammo counters at all.

Well, other than the analog ones that some German aircraft had.

how about putting the ammo counters on the on the top left of the screen? You know... just like the ammo counters seen when using TANKs, FLACK/ACKS, and MANNED GUNNER.

and yes ONLY german planes should have ammo counters inside teh cockpit.

That's what I said, but there should be an option to turn it off. Maybe something like /. counter . Hell, I hardly pay attention to the counter as it is except after a kill to see how many rubber bullets it took.

If your plann is implemented, i think HTC should focus making the plane cockpit a bit more realistic, and dirtier!:)

i can calculate how many seconds are in a year in my head. long multiplication is fun. but it takes me about a half hour to do it.

When I mean true to History, I don't mean as A dial, but rather from the pilots memory, how that could be displayed in the game, I have no idea.

The point is if we are going to have them, put them where they can be seen easily.

If its historically correct cockpits that is the goal then remove them.
