The pic mid way down of HMS King George V and USS Missouri......that says it all for me.

Yup, we had a little spat a couple of century's ago and sure we like to take the piss out of the each other but......when all's said and done our flags are the same colours.

We where at anchor outside of Yeman in the early 1960's, next to us was a British Corvette (Not the plastic Chevy), Our revelle was at 0500 for those not already on watch. Chow was at 0545 till 0700. After chow at about 0730 I heard a boatswains pipe sound on the British Corvette, and I still remember to this day the exact words .....Now wakey wakey wakey...rise and shine....the mornings fine......don't turn over...turn out.
